Helen is a Sustainability Consultant in the arts and has supported organisations such as Machynlleth Comedy Festival, Arcola Theatre and PoliNations to reduce their carbon impact. She does this through collaboratively creating Sustainability Policies and Action Plans, carbon analyses (including materials analysis), and by implementing energy efficiency/carbon reductions initiatives. As a Senior Assessor for AGF, Helen assesses a variety of festivals, events and venues, providing detailed feedback for organisations to reduce their impact on the environment.
Helen has a PGDip in Sustainability and Adaptation from the Centre for Alternative Technology and completed the Sustainable Cultural Management course with Julie’s Bicycle at the University of Thessaloniki.
In her spare time, Helen sits on the board of the School of Natural Building and moonlights as an agroecological veg grower and advocate working with organisations like Oxford Real Farming Conference.
