Raging fires in the southern country are threatening the local biodiversity and putting in risk the health and safety of the people, especially those in vulnerable situations and without access to essential service.
175.000 ha of grasslands, mountainous territory and native forests have been burnt and the situation worsens with the dry season and COVID-19 regulations that restrict specialists and human forces to travel to the areas in need.
The emergency has prompted multiple fundraising campaigns to help with the critical situation and here’s one you can contribute with.
Members of the Fauna Group and students from the Catholic University of Córdoba are giving shelter and curation to injured animals and are raising funds to cover the costs of medicines and food. Donation can be as follow:
– With your contribution of $300 (approx £4) = they buy one bale of food.
– With your contribution of $500 (approx £6) = they cover one healing treatment.
Or you can collaborate with any donation you can. Any support helps!
