One of our three co-founders, Ben Challis, has won the ‘Most Professional Professional’ Award at the International Live Music Conference’s Gala Dinner in London on Saturday evening!
The Awards, called ‘The Arthurs’ are voted for by the 1000 delegates at the ILMC from the live events industry, and this year included awards for the Montreux Jazz Festival as the event’s industry’s (‘liggers’) favourite festival, for Muse for best (‘least painful’) tour and for the 02 Academy Brixton as best venue.
Ben told me “I was dead chuffed to get the Award this year. Its a real honour not only as a music lawyer and with my role at the Glastonbury Festival but also for the work I do with A Greener Festival and Julies Bicycle. I can’t tell you how pleased I was, and even more pleased that I managed to get the Award trophy, a bottle of champagne and myself home on the number 10 bus”.
Huge congratulations from all of us Ben! You are very deserving of this award. Lemonades all around to celebrate! 😉
