The 12th European Health and Safety Seminar

Buckinghamshire New University is proud to present the 12th Health and Safety Seminar supported by YOUROPE, Show & Event Security and the Espirit Arena

Missenden Abbey, 26-27 May 2011

This European Health & Safety Seminar for professionals across the events industry takes place at the beautiful Missenden Abbey in Buckinghamshire.

The seminar will take place on the 26 and 27 May.

A wide range of topics will be discussed focusing on the needs of event professionals – music, sport and other events will form the focus of the keynotes, workshops and panels which include crowd psychology with a workshop on crowd psychology with participant examples, communication as a tool to manage the psychology as a crowd, a panel with police and fire service professionals about communication and managing the non violent crowd, football crowd behaviour – parallels with festival behaviour, intermediate crowd dynamics, the crowd management plan – evacuation procedure and Olympic Security & Crowd Management – working with culture and sport, issues, differences and similarities

A gala dinner in the beautiful setting of Missenden Abbey is one of the highlights.

This is not only the chance to gain new knowledge and information but to hear world class  speakers, share workshops with those of a like-mind and to network in a fantastic environment.

It is expected that this seminar will have a high take-up so it is advised to book early to avoid disappointment.
