We are honoured to welcome two incredibly knowledgable and engaging speakers to help clarify and demystify the world of carbon offsets and removals and what we need to do collectively to make significant and rapid changes to avoid catastrophic climate change. Is cutting emissions enough, or do we need to go further? Do any real solutions for removing carbon exist, and how do we prevent offsets being used as a “get out of jail for a fee” card? We know we have pumped plenty of emissions into the atmosphere over the decades – so what role, if any, does the music industry have to play in accelerating the supply and take-up of carbon removals from the atmosphere?
