Victoria Chapman is Head of Sustainability for UK and Ireland at Live Nation, overseeing environmental sustainability at 35 major UK festivals and 39 venues. Recently taking on responsibility for the development and implementation of their new Green Nation Charter. In 2018 she was recognised as a Creative Green Champion for her work at Festival Republic embedding sustainability across a number of major UK music festivals.
Sustainability and regeneration have been strong threads throughout her career, adding to her experience in the private, charity and public sectors. Vikki has also worked at the Eden Project in Cornwall as their Sustainability Manager (maternity cover) and managed the creative reuse of vacant buildings for East Street Arts, an Arts Council funded NPO. She also worked on the procurement of major social infrastructure projects at Leeds City Council for seven years where she trained in project management and sustainable procurement.
I have specialised in sustainability since 2015 when I undertook a Post Graduate Certificate in Sustainability and Adaptation. At Live Nation I have recently been responsible for developing their global Sustainability Charter, Green Nation. I am proud to have been recognised as a Creative Green Champion by Julie’s Bicycle for my work at Festival Republic embedding sustainability across a number of major UK Music Festivals.
