Was being more sustainable or addressing your waste footprint one of your new year’s resolutions for 2016?
Well to support your aspirations, Kambe the sustainable event consultancy is putting on two workshops, during March in Birmingham.
The Sustainable Food at Festivals & Events workshop on the 10th March, will cover everything from food certifications to waste management and energy efficiency. Case studies will come from waste and power experts, caterers, chefs and traders. The workshop will be relevant to: markets/trader managers, event caterers and event management professionals working with food. There will be a breakout session for trader managers on the potential of standardising serveware, across the festival industry.
For those more interested in waste, the Managing Waste at City-Based And Green Field Events workshop on 11th March will be a day dedicated to reducing waste and improving recycling rates. The speakers will include Ed Cook from Resource Futures, providing a detailed look at waste management on and off site. Whilst behaviour and communications expert, Rachel Lilley will advise why audiences litter and how this behaviour can be adjusted with effective communication.
Participants to each workshop will also come away with a draft action plan.
Spaces are limited to 30 for each event. EACH workshop costs £195 + VAT per participant. Secure your place now and take advantage of the 25% early bird discount before 1st February 2016.
