With just one week to go until GEI 2016, we at Green Event Towers are super excited about hearing what our speakers have to say, while bringing together the greatest minds and most active individuals in sustainable events.

This week we have added a few organic cherries and a sprinkling of environmentally friendly icing on our completely sustainable GEI cake.

Chris Tofu (Continental Drifts / Shangri La) will be moderating what is set to be quite a moving and motivational session Culture Loves Supports and Unites, where we will hear from Firefly Green Energy’s work in Malawi with LSUF, whilst Fruzsina Szép presents Yourope’s Mission Statement. We will hear from the Refugee Council about how events can have an impact within the local community, and Steve Bedlam (The Common) will share details of the inspirational Refugee Community Kitchen.

Steve Muggeridge (Green Gathering) joins us for Disrupting Complacency: Hard to Swallow Necessities, sharing a wealth of experience in audience engagement and participation. This is alongside Rob Scully (Glastonbury Festival/ RP Conservation) who will be looking at the challenges of integrating a reusable stainless-steel cup system into established bar operations.

To top it all off, we are welcoming festival photographer Ramona Carraro to exhibit some of her fantastic works and provide a visual portal into the summer’s magic and creativity via the walls of our London venue. Check out some of her stunning works here: www.ramonacarrarophotography.co.uk.

All of this amongst our already incredible array of speakers, delegates and guests, not to mention the lunch and post conference drinks reception that we will share with delegates of the ILMC!
