UK Festival Awards continues partnership with A Greener Festival

The Festival AwardsThe UK Festival Awards have released confirmation that they will once again be collaborating with A Greener Festival this year. Over to them…

A Greener Festival will join the UK Festival Awards for the 10th time this year, once again presenting its eponymous and highly prestigious Greener Festival Award to the UK festival that the organisation has deemed most exemplary in its dedication to sustainability.

Festivals all around the world that apply for the Greener Festival Award undergo a rigorous assessment, and show a real dedication to reducing their impact and changing the industry for the better. A Greener Festival stresses that all of the nominees are already winners.

On December 6th we will celebrate the UK festivals that are putting their heads above the crowd, and will crown the one winner that scored the highest in the Greener Festival Award’s UK assessments during summer 2018.

The Greener Festival Award shortlist is as follows…

  • Boomtown Fair
  • Barclaycard Presents BST Hyde Park
  • Cambridge Folk Festival
  • Fire in the Mountain
  • Green Gathering
  • Greenbelt
  • Kew the Music
  • Manchester Pride
  • Wood Festival
