Only the greener festivals win me!
This is it – our lovely new trophy designed by Keswick School sixth form student Sade Goddard and had crafted by fellow students – out of recycled plastic (water bottles), crushed CDs and remoulded wellington boots – all made by Smile Plastics.
Five of the gongs have already gone to Australia and our Awards co-ordinator Amie will hand these out, two more have already gone to the USA and we plan to hand out most of the rest to UK winners and hopefully some European winners at the UK Festival Awards at London’s O2 on the 19th November.
