SoundBytes in conjunction with Un-Convention returns to Preston on SATURDAY 24th NOVEMBER for a day of panels and talks around independent music and creativity.


The event will focus on opportunities for artists and independent music companies in the modern music landscape. The event aims to connect young and emerging practitioners with each other, to provide practical and achievable strategies. It is a must for anyone looking to develop their career as either an artist or music professional.


The day of talks, panels and live performances features some of the most cutting edge artists and thinkers in the modern music industries including: Scott Cohen (Orchard & manager of the Dum Dum Girls), Tony Morley (Leaf Label), Steve LawsonChris Cooke (CMU), Ben Sunderland (Chasing Owls), Jamie Webster (Instinctive Racoon), Howard Monk(The Local), Lee Denny (LeeFest), Matt Johnson (MDM Music), Rachel Ho (UK Indie Touring), Mike Burgess (HeavyFeet), Matthew Young (Song By Toad), plus many more tba.

Throughout the event  there will be live recordings of artists from in and around Lancashire. The day rounds off with live performances by the Travelling BandHarp And A MonkeyBill OrrickAndy Oliver and Baxter Rhodes.
