We are about to hang the sold-out signs on the doors, with GEI 10 looking like the best GEI yet, with an unparalleled line-up of the greenest chairs and speakers scheduled to participate in this year’s event.
We have a stellar cast of inspirational chairs and hosts signed-up, from Greenpeace, GO Group,UnLimited Media, Raw Foundation, Green Events Nederland, Resource Futures, 10,000 HOURS Foundation, City to Sea, Soil Association; and from events such as Glastonbury,Pohoda Festival, Roskilde Festival, The Green Gathering, We Love Green Festival, Bestival, Camp Bestival (pictured), and many more. In addition we have a keynote presentation from the wonderful Bob Wilson from Greenpeace UK.
And not only do we have an impressive list of speakers, we also have an incredible list of delegates that have registered to attend the event. So if you want to see who else will be in the room on Tuesday, click here.
We’ll be discussing everything from climate science and social cohesion, to greener travel and, of course, poo.
As well as a packed conference agenda, there will be refreshments, a five-star gourmet lunch, networking breaks, and a closing drinks party – all of which will take place alongside delegates of IPM (the ILMC Production Meeting) which takes place concurrently.
The closing drinks party will also feature an awards ceremony in which 2017’s A Greener Festival and Greener Event Award winners receive their well-earned awards. The drinks party is supported by our fabulous friends at Toast Ale, who brew award-winning ale from surplus, unsold bread.
